Dear Valued Customers,
We would like to inform you that in effective from 1 February 2025, our company has established a new policy on Idle Account (as defined below) to protect customers’ trading accounts in Max Online from potential losses caused by unauthorized use of such accounts if there are no transactions for a long period of time, and prevent inactive accounts from being used for money laundering or other illegal purposes.
“Idle Account”
An Idle Account refers to an account where the customer’s trading account has not had any activity (including transactions or fund deposits/withdrawals) in the past 6 months.
“Classified as Idle Account”
We will notify the customer by email 3 working days before the date when the customer’s account is classified as an Idle Account (the Idle Account Effective Date). Client hereby shall pay attention to their account whether there are any balance in account. If our company does not receive any notification from the customer before the Idle Account Effective Date, the customer’s account will be classified as an Idle Account on the Idle Account Effective Date and Idle Account Service Fee will be collected.
“Idle Account Service Fee”
If the customer’s account still has a cash balance after being classified as an Idle Account, our company will deduct the first time US$5 Idle Account Service Fee on the Idle Account Effective Date (all remaining balance will be deducted if the account balance is less than US$5), and a US$5 Idle Account Service Fee will be deducted on the last working day of each calendar month thereafter, until the cash balance in the account reaches zero, unless we have received customer request on account reactivation and the relevant arrangement is confirmed by Max Online.
All of the above fees and charges are subjected to change and at the Company’s sole discretion.
